10:1 Concentrated Extract Powder - 2oz (56grams)

What is Astragalus?

Astragalus is a flowering perennial plant which is native to parts of Northern China and Mongolia. The roots of four-year-old plants are harvested to create a powder that has powerful medicinal properties. We source our astragalus straight from a pristine mountainous region in Northern China which is famous for being home to some of the highest quality astragalus in the world. Our finely-milled powder also comes in concentrated extract form, which means that each dose contains ten times more nutrients than the raw root.

How Do I Use Astragalus Extract Powder?

Astragalus is a versatile superfood: It can be dissolved into warm water to create a tonic tea, mixed into juices, and blended into your favorite smoothies. You can also get creative and experiment with adding astragalus to your favorite healthy recipes including raw chocolates, protein balls and bars, raw desserts, soups, and dips. Astragalus also complements other superfoods including medicinal mushrooms like tremella and tonic herbs such as schizandra berry.

As well as ingesting astragalus, the superfood can also be applied topically to soothe the skin and promote a radiant complexion. You can mix the astragalus powder with a dash of water to form a paste which can be used as a face mask, or simply add a small amount to your natural moisturizer and use as normal.

For the best storage, keep your astragalus in a cool and dry place out of direct sunlight.
