What Are the Health Benefits of Ginseng?
Ginseng is a nutritional superstar that’s full of a unique blend of health compounds including saponins, polysaccharides, peptides, B-vitamins, flavonoids, and glycans. Many of ginseng's health benefits are due to the presence of ginsenosides, which are also known as panaxosides. Our high mountain ginseng is special as it contains higher amounts of ginsenosides in comparison to both the American and Siberian varieties. This superfood has been used for over 2,000 years in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and it's often prescribed for its rejuvenating qualities.

How to Use the Ginseng Powder
Traditionally, ginseng required a long preparation process into turn it into a palatable supplement that the body is able to digest. Luckily we've done the hard work for you by transforming the 8-year-aged roots into a finely milled powder which is good to go. This versatile power can be blended into smoothies, mixed in with juices, stirred into teas, and sprinkled on foods. If you want to get creative in the kitchen, then you can also mix it into dips, salad dressings, soups, and even desserts. It blends well with other superfoods including medicinal mushrooms as well as some tonic herbs. Many people choose to take ginseng in the morning for a potent pick-me-up, although it can be used in the afternoon to help you to power through a midday slump. It's best not to take the ginseng just before bed.
Our ginseng powder comes in an eco-friendly, travel-friendly, resealable pouch that helps to protect its nutrients. In order to increase its shelf-life, we recommend storing your ginseng in a cool and dry place.
How Much To Use? Ginseng Powder Dose
Our high mountain ginseng powder is one of the most potent superfoods that we offer. A little goes a long way with this powder, so we suggest starting with a smaller dose of between just 1/4 and 1/2 of a teaspoon. Try and take it on an empty stomach and really listen to your body to notice its effects and how it makes you feel. You can then up the dose to around 1 teaspoon if you wish to do so. High mountain ginseng is suitable for use for ages 12 and above.
