The beauty complex has a mild, pleasant flavor which means that it can be used in both sweet and savory dishes, and even sprinkled over foods to add a dash of extra goodness to any meal. You can add the powder to any of your favorite recipes, or get creative in the kitchen to learn some new ones. Here are two easy-to-make beauty complex recipes to get you started:

Green Glow Beauty Complex

Add the complex to some blended fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, and you’ll create a super potent beautifying smoothie. This refreshing green glow recipe contains spinach, cucumber, kale, lemon and a few apples to help add a touch of sweetness to the juice. It’s best to use a coldpress juicer as they can reduce nutrient degradation during the juicing process, although centrifugal juicers will also work for this recipe.

Prep your fruits and vegetables, and make sure that the kale is cut into small pieces to prevent the fibrous leaves from being caught up in the juicer. Juice 1/2 a cucumber, a generous handful of spinach, a handful of kale, 1/2 of lemon, and two apples. Add 2 tsp of the beauty complex to the juice, and then stir and enjoy it within several hours. You can add spring greens, chia seeds, or a juice a chunk of ginger to give the green juice a fiery kick.

Raw Chocolates

Raw cacao powder is extremely rich in beautifying antioxidants which perfectly pair with the age-defying nutrients that the beauty complex contains. The easy to make recipe provides a guilt-free way to indulge in your chocolate cravings, and a bonus is that it only requires four ingredients.

Add 1 cup of medjool dates, 1 cup of walnuts, 2 tsp of the beauty complex, and 2 tbsp of raw cacao powder into your blender, and then blend until it creates a slightly sticky, textured mixture. Roll the mixture into small, even-sized balls, place them onto a baking tray and pop them in the fridge to cool. You can get creative and add different nuts, dried goji berries, chopped fruits, maca, tonic herbs or desiccated coconut. The raw chocolate balls will last up to 3 days when refrigerated properly.

Beauty Complex Morning Elixir

Rise and glow with this really simple recipe that is perfect to sip on in the morning. Coconut oil contains powerful fatty acids (caprylic and lauric) which help to create smooth, supple skin. Simply add one tbsp of the powder to a mug full of warm water, add a dash of coconut milk for creaminess, half a tbsp or raw coconut oil, and then stir until everything has dissolved. If you like your tea sweet, you can add in coconut sugar, agave, or maple syrup to taste.
