The talented Andy (Instagram @vegan.dy) made this stunning creation by carefully selecting ingredients that contain a high amount of antioxidants. The ORAC Scale is used to identify the presence antioxidants in natural substances. According to this scale, blueberries have a score of 3,370, goji berries sit at 41,000, but coming in top of the list is a medicinal mushroom called chaga. Chaga has an impressive score of 100,400, which makes it the most antioxidant-rich substance on the planet. Throw in some kumquats, figs and fresh berries, and you have yourself this nutritious and satisfying delight.
Chaga also contains over 215 nutritional compounds including vital trace vitamins, polysaccharides, triterpenes, flavonoids, beta glucans, melanin, phytochemicals and enzymes. It’s rich in wild-source minerals including manganese, potassium, zinc, iron, calcium and copper.

- 3 Ripe Bananas
- ½ Hass Avocado
- 1 Tbsp Raw Cacao
- 1 Tsp Hybrid Herbs Chaga Mushroom Powder
- ½ Tsp Lemon Juice
- Pinch of Salt
Optional Toppings: Berries , kumquats
Place all of the ingredients into your blender and then blend until smooth and creamy. Spoon the mixture into a pretty bowl and then top with berries, figs and kumquats to get that extra antioxidant boost!
