A Pre-Workout Pick-Me-Up: An Energising Pine Pollen Recipe

Okay we lied, this super smoothie isn't just great before you hit the gym, it's also lovely to sip on in the morning, when you hit an afternoon slump or even while you are picnicking in the park. It's also a simple smoothie that you can whizz up at home in a matter of minutes. Feeling creative? Why not add in some extra superfoods, herbs, nuts or spends to really make this pine pollen smoothie your own. If you'd like your smoothie to have more of an ice cream texture (or should we say 'nice cream'), then peel the bananas and pop them in the freezer before you use them.

You Will Need

1 ripe banana

1 1/2 cups of plant-based milk

A handful of spinach

A handful of blueberries

1 teaspoon of coconut oil

1 tsp of Hybrid Herbs pine pollen powder

1 date (if you'd like to sweeten it up a little)

Instructions

Add all of the nutritious ingredients into you blender, and then whizz until smooth. Add in some extra water or plant-based milk if you would like to adjust the consistency. Pour into a pretty glass and enjoy immediately.

Pine Pollen Shot: A Super-Quick Wake Up Call

If you don't have the time to create a pine pollen smoothie or a fancy raw food recipe, then this simple pine pollen shot could be just what you need. It’s perfect for those sleepy mornings when you need a little help but don’t want to reach for a coffee.

You Will Need

1tsp of hybrid herbs Pine pollen powder

A shot glass

Instructions

Pop your teaspoon of pine pollen powder into your shot glass and then top it up with spring water. Give it a little stir with a mini spoon until the pine pollen powder has fully dissolved, then down your pine pollen shot in one. It really is that easy!
