This shiitake recipe is super easy to make and it is perfect when you need something warm and comforting but you don't want to slave over a hot stove for hours. It also makes a great snack, as it can help to satisfy salty, savory cravings - plus it is surprisingly filling too.
You Will Need
- Nori Sheet
- 1 tsp shiitake extract powder
To make your shiitake miso bowl, simply dissolve 3tsp of miso into a bowl along with 1tsp of our shiitake complex into warm water and then lightly whisk until it has fully dissolved. Finely chop the scallions, and rip up some of the nori sheets and then sprinkle them on top of the miso. Allow the nori sheets to soften for a minute or too. You can even get creative with your miso bowl by adding in other goodies such as vegetables, herbs and even other types of medicinal mushrooms such as tremella. Enjoy while the soup it is still warm.
